Course Certification

TLILIC0005 – (WP) High-Risk Licence to Operate Boom Lift, Truck Mount and Trailer-Type Elevating Work Platform Over 11 Meters.The nationally recognised course. The participants will receive a High Risk Licence Class WP (All Boom Lifts over 11meters) from Work Health & Safety Queensland when deemed competent.

We offer training sessions in small groups focused on enhancing both theoretical and practical skills for students!

Option 1:  (We recommend 3 days for Beginners)

3-Day High-Risk Work Boom Lift  Licence. (Face-to-Face Training)

1^st day: Theory and Practical Training.

2^nd day: Theory and Practical revision.

3^rd day: Theory and Practical assessment

Option 2:

A high-risk work Boom Lift licence may be obtained through past experience, an expired licence, or an overseas licence.

1^st day: Theory and Practical Training. If you require additional practical experience, we may need to schedule a second day.

3^rd day: Mandatory Theory and Practical Assessment.

Option 3:

Learn at your own pace

1^st day: Theory and Practical boom lift Training. If you’d like more practical experience, we can bring you back for a second day. We issue you with a logbook, which you can then return to your workplace and operate under supervision while you prepare for your forklift assessment.

When you are ready for your assessment. It is part of the criteria we must meet to be a trainer and assessor in Queensland. We must notify Work Health and Safety 3 days before the assessment, which means Work Health and Safety inspectors may turn up on the day of the assessment to oversee the assessment. (Very similar to a driving Test). The assessment will be held at 65 Telford St, Virginia.

Proof Of Identification Entry Requirements:

• minimum age is 18 years

•  USI Number (if you don’t have a USI number, you can create one here: Click Here

• Be able to read and write basic English

• Be physically capable of working outdoors on your feet.

PPE Requirements

• Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)

• Safety shoes or boots

• Hi-vis shirt

• A broad-brimmed sun hat and water bottle are recommended

• Provide photo identification

Identification is mandatory by Worksafe Queensland to attend the (Class WP) Boom Lift over 11 meters, national assessment to obtain your HRWL

Special: $ 690 (now $590) per person.

When the invoice is paid in full, we will send the Learning Materials to get the trainee started for all three options, which may shorten the course duration.

Course Overview

This Boom lift licence course over 11 meters on all types of booms is a legal requirement for anyone who operates a Boom lift over 11meters , licence class (WP) TLILIC0005 If you do not have a High Risk Work Licence Class WP. You could get on the spot fine from WH&SQ. Fines range from $144 – $720 for Individuals and $720 to $3600 for a business. You must enrol in a formal forklift licence training course, delivered by recognised trainers and accredited assessors who are aligned with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).Affordable Training is aligned with its sister company Tectra Australia RTO 40889.

As a condition of accreditation, assessors in Queensland are not permitted to conduct an assessment for a high-risk work licence class unless they sight evidence of formal forklift licence training and supervised practical training to sit the assessment, you have to be 18 years of age or older and be able to understand the english Language. Course Outline

• 3-Day Course

We provide both theory and practical training, generally with a final assessment. Formal training is usually conducted in a classroom-style environment and covers all elements of the unit of competency associated with the licence class. It includes both theory and practical demonstrations of the safe use and operation of the plant.

Duration of assessments: Written 2.5 hours, practical 1.5 hours.

The Participants will receive a High Risk Licence Class WP (All Boom Lifts over 11meters) from Work Health & Safety Queensland and a PDF Version of their Statement of Attainment from RTO, Tectra Australia 40889, by Email, when him or her are deemed to be competent. Statements of attainment are documents (like a certificate) that show the units of competency that a student completes as part of a nationally recognised course.
