Photo I.D EWPA Yellow Card Scissor Lift, Vertical Lift, unlimited height Training (One Man Lift) Special $225.00
Proof Of Identification & Entry Requirements:
• minimum age is 16 years, where the applicant will be issued with a “Restricted digital photographic
EWPA Yellow Card. This will allow you to operate under the direct supervision of an unrestricted Yellow Card holder within the same EWP class.
• Be able to read and write basic English
• Be physically capable of working outdoors on your feet for up to 6 hours
• Provide photo identification
PPE Requirements
• Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Safety shoes or boots
• Hi-vis shirt
• A broad-brimmed sun hat and water bottle are recommended
Course Duration
4 to 8-hour Courses (depending on students’ experience and number of students)

Course Start Time: The course is scheduled to begin at 7:30 AM; however, the timing may be adjusted following discussions with the office regarding group bookings.

Course Overview
Our EWPA Yellow Card, Elevated Work Platform training Courses offer comprehensive hands on training with fully Nationally Accredited Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia (EWPA) trainers. Students can expect to learn the skills required to safely operate various types of elevating work platforms. We schedule courses Monday to Friday, bookings Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.
On completion of the training you will receive an EWPA Nationally Recognised Yellow Plastic Card with photo I.D. This will have all the classes of the courses in which you are deemed to be competent.
Course Outline
- Plan work – Identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures;
- Conduct routine checks – Check logbook, EWP structural integrity, safety and communication equipment;
- Set up – Check ground suitability, apply appropriate hazard prevention/control measures;
- Operate EWP – Use relevant plant movements, use best mobile practice and respond to unplanned/unsafe situations, use of riggers and stabilizers;
- Shut down – Correctly stow EWP and safety equipment, conduct routine post-operational checks, clean up workplace;

What is a Yellow Card?
Launched on 11 May 2015 by the Elevating Work Platform Association of Australia (EWPA), the “EWP Operator Licence – Yellow Card program” is designed to ensure that the holder has been trained in the safe use and operation of various types of elevated work platforms. It has been developed in line with and is mapped directly to Nationally Recognised Training (NRT).
Why Do I Need Yellow Card Training?
The Act aims to protect the health, safety and welfare of people at work. It clearly states that there is a duty of care to ensure workplace safety for the Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU). Verbal instruction in this case is not considered as an effective method of training as it lacks written proof of training evidence. The EWP Operator Training Program or ‘Yellow Card’ is the result of the EWPA helping the industry to comply with the Acts.
