We offer training sessions in small groups focused on enhancing both theoretical and practical skills for students!

Forklift Training Course Price
Course Fee $550 Per Person. discount on group bookings.
When the invoice is paid in full, we will email out to the trainee, Learning Material to get the trainee started for all 2 options, which may shorten the course duration.

Forklift Ticket Course Overview
This forklift licence course is a legal requirement for anyone who operates a forklift, licence class (LF) TLILIC0003 If you do not have a High Risk Work Licence Class LF. You could get on the spot fine from WH&SQ. Fines range from $144 – $720 for Individuals and $720 to $3600 for a business. You must enrol in a formal forklift licence training course, delivered by recognised trainers and accredited assessors who are aligned with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
Affordable Training is aligned with its sister company Tectra Australia RTO 40889.
As a condition of accreditation, assessors in Queensland are not permitted to conduct an assessment for a high risk work licence class unless they sight evidence of formal forklift licence training and supervised practical training and to sit the assessment you have to be 18 years of age minimum.

Forklift Licence Course Outline
- Plan work – Identify hazards and implement appropriate control measures based on manufacturer requirements and Safe Work Australia guidelines. This ensures that the forklift operator is aware of potential risks and can apply safe work procedures in the workplace.
- Conduct routine checks – Perform thorough inspections, including the logbook review, forklift’s structural integrity, and safety and communication equipment checks. These checks should align with both manufacturer requirements and safe work procedures to ensure safe and efficient forklift operation.
- Shift Loads – Before moving loads, assess the weight to ensure compliance with the forklift truck’s data plate specifications. During forklift operation, maintain a safe speed in accordance with workplace procedures and apply appropriate hazard prevention/control measures, adhering to Safe Work Australia standards.
- Shut down skill – Correctly stow the forklift and safety equipment. Perform routine post-operational checks to confirm that all manufacturer requirements are met, ensuring ongoing safety and maintenance of the equipment.
Upon successful completion of the forklift training the Participants will receive a PDF Version of their Statement of Attainment from RTO, Tectra Australia 40889, by Email, when him or her are deemed to be competent. Statements of attainment are documents (like a certificate) that show the units of competency that a student completes as part of a nationally recognised forklift license course. The Trainee will receive an email from WH&SQ, then the trainee has 60 days to lodge his or her application online to receive their forklift licences from Work Health and Safety Qld.

What to Bring:
- Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Safety shoes or boots
- Hi-vis shirt and
- A broad brimmed sun hat and water bottle is recommended
- We supply tea and coffee milk (Fridge) Cafe driving distance from venue
- Provide three forms of identification
